Needs More Crusader Aura

This is what happens when I get gold, some materials, and a bit of free time. I take paladin fiancees out for a night time spin.

Exploring The Other Side

Having read WTT:RP’s latest post, it seems a great time to mention an idea I’ve had and one I hope to further explore in the future (when my 18-20 hour workdays 6-7 days a week are done. Sorry about the silence here, folks.).
Take a look at your main RP character. What makes them tick? What events, past and present, have helped them be the character they are today? What if something drastic happened to them? What if something cataclysmic (sorry for the pun, but it works) shook them to the very ...

Heated Embarassment

Arrens dismounted the gryphon in Booty Bay, carefully ensuring the small crate he carried didn’t tumble helplessly to the floor several levels below him. “Long time, no see, p’rfessor,” said the gryphon master as he helped Arrens with his goods. “Wha’ be bringin’ ye down our way on this lovely summer’s day?”
Arrens stretched, his complacent muscles sore after the long flight. “I require some herbs from the region, Master Gyll. As it happens, the University’s run out of Khadgar’s Whisker for next year’s alchemy students. I need to replenish our ...

Hell On The Heart

I’ve said before that music is a great motivator for me. It inspires me in ways few other things can. This post is one of those ways. Based off this song, enjoy!
Arrens sat in his private study surrounded by stacks of brochures for elaborate cakes, floral arrangements and formal tailoring services. The oil lantern flickered in the late evening providing him his only means of light as he flipped endlessly through brochure after brochure. He muttered to himself, “Gods. How the fel does one choose?”

Without warning, from behind him a ...

RealID and Why I Won’t Be Using It

Patch 3.3.5 hit yesterday, and with it came the ability to hunt and track all of your favorite friends that play on different servers/factions than you. RealID is upon us, friends. The ability to pop an email address into your window and invite all those nearest and dearest to you from Azeroth to chat with you at any given time.
And therein lies the crux of my problem with it.
I myself am not a private person. If I were, I’d not post my real name anywhere. I’d follow in the footsteps ...

From Sand to Pearls

Note: Hi, folks. Long time, no blog, eh? Unless you’re a regular RPer on Feathermoon Alliance side, this might not be entirely of interest to you. I have other blog posts in mind that I hope to get out very soon, so if you wish to skip this, no hard feelings. If you DO read on and have questions about what the hell I’m on about, by all means, feel free to ask in the comments or email. I’ll do my best to clarify where I can, but in the ...

Hey, Man! Where Ya Been?

A common question to me lately, that title.
Life has, as they say, kicked me in the nads recently. Work scheduling is…a challenge these days. Some days, I work nights. Other days, I work during the daylight hours. And, just for an added bonus, some days they make me work overnight. This hectic schedule of 60-70 hours a week have left little time for blogging, so my humble apologies for having gone dark for over a month as I try to get back in the groove. Can I promise to post ...

Acceptance

They stood before the ruined houses, stark reminders of the destruction that had been wrought upon the city so many years ago. Silently they passed homes that were no more than foundations and others still that were mere ash. At last, Arrens stopped before the remains of one of the larger buildings as near to the crater where Dalaran once stood as he would dare. He gripped Aely’s hand a little harder.

“This was my home once, my love. This is where I studied and played and knew the love of ...

Guest Post – I’ve a Feeling We’re Not In Kansas Anymore…

Hello! I’m Misha, from Me, Myself, And All Of Them… not that you would have heard of such a new blog! Anyway, I’m a Tauren, from Ysera, who likes long walks on the plains of Mulgore…
Whoops! Wrong post. What I’m actually here to talk about are my experiences on RP realms, as coming from someone who spends most of their time on a ‘normal’ realm, who is now spending slightly more time on RP realms. I was chosen for this task because Arrens doesn’t have enough posts on his blog ...

A Call To Arms: Healer Edition

Friends, Azerothians and fellow WoWers, lend me your ears. If anyone has read any of my out of character ramblings before, you should know by now just how much I love to rile up the healers in this game we love. Reminding resto shaman that yes, they too have totems and should probably use them is a favorite pasttime. Poking holy pallys that Crusader Aura is on until they explode in fits of rage makes me giggle (sorry, Anna). Convincing a tree druid to /dance when they don’t realize there’s ...
