Sometimes, You Just Get Caught in the Whirlwind
Arrens the warlock has been through a lot these past few weeks. Aside from his contentious relationship issues that I’ll recap in a moment, he has recently (ICly) discovered the ability to transform into a demon via Metamorphosis, he was around for the announcement of a death that struck a great many of his friends and associates very hard and he has also found someone in whom he can confide (and who can confide in him) with Aely.
Things are crazy in warlock land — crazier than one might expect anyways.
As for his relationship with Rosie, within the past 48 hours, they have indirectly agreed to end their arguing and bickering by not seeing each other anymore, getting each other so mad at one another that they screamed at each other until their voices were raw and then got back together.
No, seriously. It’s as crazy as it sounds.
All of this RP has been very serious and very dramatic. It reached a pinnacle last night where Arrens, who had not slept in nearly 4 days, found himself in the Blue Recluse drinking alone until Aely showed up. She wanted to thank him for being there the night before as she had to deal with the hell of informing her comrades-in-arms about the death of one of their own as well as find out why Arrens looked like hell. After the long version of the story, he drank himself stupid…because some humor needed to be injected into what has been some very dramatic, if very fun, RP of late.
Trying to play an educated, kind man absolutely sloshed on whiskey and unable to properly pronounce words longer than 2 syllables? Pretty humorous, if you ask me. But I couldn’t just drop it there.
On their way out of the bar, with Aely concerned about Arrens’ well-being and ability to walk himself back to the University, Aely emoted putting something in Arrens’ pockets. As Arrens stumbled away, I whispered her OOCly.
Arrens: ((What’d she put in his pockets?))
Aely: ((A couple of Aely’s special hangover teabags.))
Arrens: ((…))
Aely: ((What?))
Arrens: ((Aely totally just teabagged Arrens…))

Come on over! We’re almost always somewhere within Stormwind. The Pig & Whistle Tavern in Old Town is our standard meeting place, but as I said in this post, last night, I just selected the Blue Recluse since it was empty and closer to the University for Arrens to stumble to once he got as drunk as he did.
Ha! Yeah, it’s been very srs bsns RP lately – having Shaurria and Windstar around helps a lot. And, of course, random drunkenness.
Aely’s decision not to drink is, I think, a wise one and one that matches her character (somewhat – she’s always been one to take a few shots with the gang, but after barfing it all up on Tuesday, is less keen just yet) – but having both Arrens and Aely drunk would probably be hilarious.
If only because her accent gets worse, and she starts leaving words out.

Laughed out loud at the teabagging, though. And I think Khelandros is right. Twitter should be…interesting…on Monday.
