Wait…What Just Happened?
Where’s Arrens been and what’s he been up to? Arrens the warlock has been busy (though you’d never know it from the state of the blog last week, for which I apologize. Real life reared its very ugly head and will likely continue to do so until the new year.). He finally saw Rosie, who was taken by SI:7 for two days and relentlessly assaulted in the hopes that she would give up the whereabouts of one Tarquin ap Danwyrith. To say the meeting between Arrens and Rosie went well would be akin to saying the whole of the Burning Legion is really just a bunch of nice guys that wanted to purchase kittens from that woman outside of Stormwind. That is to say, it didn’t go well at all.
Arrens was outright cold to a woman who was likely just looking for a shoulder to cry on. It was an interesting experience for me due to the fact that the warlock has never shown that side before. Apparently, you burn him bad enough, and he’ll just turn his back on you in your time of need.
More recently, he finally had the chance to repay Aely for her kindness to him. Being there for him when he needed to gripe about Rosie, listening to him fret about morphing into a demon, sending him a care package of clean clothes and food while he was on exile from Stormwind and trapped in a cave in Arathi are just the highlights of what Aely has done for him. As thanks, he prepared a very nice picnic out on the remote shores of Azshara that lasted till the wee hours of the morning.
All in all, it’s been a hectic, yet enjoyable time in-game. An now that I’m back, what have you or your characters been up to?

I’m considering doing a spot of RP on an EU-RP server this coming weekend :O
Excellent! First time RPer then? Let me know how it goes.
The only real “progress” I’ve made was achievement stuff on the warrior. It wasn’t a big WoW weekend for me.
To be fair, it wasn’t really for me either. Except for the picnic with Aely which happened Saturday night, it was a rather quiet weekend on the WoW front. Real life (and all the crap that entails) took precedence.
RP was somewhat light, but pretty good for getting my feet wet with it.
I had two RP toons get rolled this weekend:
Valexus – a dwarf paladin that I’m mostly doing solo-RP with where he’s following his own path and not interacting a whole lot with other people. He’s following a bit of a real world path towards his paladin-knighthood, and it’s been a lot of fun. I’m not sure how much I like the whole being a dwarf thing, so he might get switched over to a human since he’s only level 11 right now.
Arklon – a human warlock (affliction) that I’m playing with my wife who also rolled a warlock (demo). It’s an interesting mix where we’re both taking different paths down the same road. Where she’s somewhat uncomfortable with her power and using demons, Arklon embraces it all and to some degree takes pleasure in the pain he deals. Hopefully the backstory explains why, but that’s for a blog post of my own, rather than a reply here.
Most of the weekend was spent on Feathermoon since my wife didn’t want to deal with the normal server after a stressful week(end) so we just took it easy and had a great time.
I love having you two around for the crazy. And moar warlocks! YAY!

Arvoss has been splitting his time between Northrend and Stormwind, trying to stay close to Shaur in case she needs him. Trying to work out a blog post explaining why, but writer’s block is making it hard.
Shaurria has been busy busy busy. She’s been running around all over the place checking out the holiday preparations, then she and Tadrith got bored and went to check out the Horde’s tables. In the process she met a blood elf huntress at Orgrimmar that gives good ear-scratches. >.>
She also has a new kitten!
